The way of splitting here is decided by talking it over. Better to get one big one and share it than for each to buy their own.

Pay that the counter decides and hands out, and shares that friends decide and hand over. Same money, but it travels differently. Maybe Chiikawa and friends' life keeps going because there's so much of this side-by-side sharing.
