During practice, a big bird-like creature carries off the 3 members other than Midori. Asked by Midori, who is left alone, Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi, in pajamas, become stand-in members.
At the Potato Festival performance, Chiikawa and Hachiware trip and come in late, and it goes wrong. The two keep practicing at their homes, and the day of Mucha Fest arrives.
Just before the show, Hachiware and the others spot the 3 black figures being chased by the bird, entrust the stage to Midori, and go to help. When they take down the bird with a broom, the black 3 rush onto the stage.
In the 2024 continuation, Midori writes a new song, but it doesn't land, and a skeleton song made by a bandmate gets the crowd going instead, leaving Midori with mixed feelings.
Ending
At Mucha Fest, the returned members and Midori sing together, and Chiikawa and friends, who have rushed over, are delighted. On a later stage, when Midori is attacked by a big blue creature, the bandmates and the audience save Midori with the skeleton song, and the 4 perform their very first song, closing to a huge success.
